MetaInfo
MetaInfo is built on a three tier architecture consisting of the User Interface, the Manager Server, and the
DNS/DHCP servers. They offer a lot of deployment choices including Windows, Solaris, Linux, Debian, Suse, Ubuntu,
the MetaInfo Virtual Appliance, and the MetaInfo Hardware Appliance. They provide two manager server licenses
for redundancy as well as multiple DHCP devices. Their MetaIP software can be configured with Microsoft Active
Directory, and through the UI, you can set up multiple user accounts. Through their Key Manager, you can configure,
display, and manage TSIG keys. They provide the option of deploying the DHCP software with their Meta Safe appliance,
or installing it on your own platform.

I really like how simple they make everything. You get plenty of setup choices and the user interface is pretty straightforward. I use AD and it works great with it. My company is growing, so i’m actually considering finding a dedicated External DNS provider. I would definitely recommend MetaInfo for your Internal DNS setup.
